What are "Fermi" tasks?
Fermi problems are named after the Italian nuclear physicist and Nobel Prize winner Enrico Fermi (1901–1954). Fermi was known for encouraging his students' thinking skills through unusual questions.
What does the collection of problems on the topic "Fermi Problems - Research, Calculate, Justify" for the 2nd grade math class contain?
This collection of exercises contains 10 different Fermi problems, and the approach to these types of problems will be explained beforehand. You'll also receive the solutions to all of them—but don't be surprised, the exercises don't have clear-cut results; the approaches found, and thus the solutions themselves, must be sufficiently explained and justified.
